The Small Nonprofit Affinity Group is created specifically by and for the Executive Directors of very small nonprofits. Our hope is that this group will create a foundation of support for those of you who are “doing it all”, by providing opportunities for learning, creating best practices, collaboration, and networking with colleagues. This effort is in response to a direct request for such a group from executive directors of small UNA member organizations. Our goal is that the structure and organization of the discussion group will be determined by group participants and supported by UNA.
While not all our members can easily attend meetings that will take place in Salt Lake City we hope to utilize UNA's member-to-member listserv to include interested members throughout the state. We can disseminate information from the meetings and initiate and continue discussions via the listserv. Any UNA member can join the listserv from our website here: http://www.utahnonprofits.org/engagement/member-to-member-listserv.
Meetings are scheduled for the 4th Thursday of the month at 4pm in the UNA offices. Thank you for the energy you're putting into this group, you are building a discussion group that will benefit small nonprofits across the state!
