Join UNA in urging our elected officials to support the Charitable Act, which would incentive charitable giving for low-income to middle-income taxpayers by creating a universal charitable deduction in addition to the standard deduction for taxpayers who do not itemize. The Charitable Act encourages continued growth in giving through charitable donations from a larger base of taxpayers. Both the National Council of Nonprofits and the Charitable Giving Coalition endorse the legislation.
