Alliance House

Adults with severe and persistent mental illness in Salt Lake City deserve every opportunity to build self-confidence and self-esteem, reintegrate into their community, become independent and productive members of society and live happy, healthy lives. That’s why Alliance House exists to provide a supportive environment where adults with serious, persistent mental illness (SPMI) can rebuild their self-respect, dignity, and abilities through education, productive work, and meaningful relationships. We do this by helping Members complete educational goals, develop necessary work skills in order to return to productive employment in the community, and where needed, help Members find and secure affordable housing.

Bountiful Davis Art Center

BDAC’s Mission statement reads: To engage the community through quality artistic and cultural programs, provide educational experiences, and encourage the growth and expression of art. The art center achieves its mission via its unique programming and events including free-to-the-public art exhibitions featuring the finest artists in the state; professionally taught art and theater classes for children and adults; free Family Art Nights held monthly; affordable recital space featuring the only dual-piano stage in Davis County; and free musical concerts and events including the area’s largest folk arts festival, Summerfest International.

Brigham City Fine Arts Council

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and providing affordable fine arts opportunities for youth and families in the community. Where those skilled in visual and performing arts can teach and mentor students of all ages.

Canyon Creek Women's Crisis Center

We serve all survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation or any other identity. CCS provides both immediate crisis and long-term, supportive advocacy services. Canyon Rim is Community

Canyon Rim is Community is grassroots effort by residents of the Canyon Rim neighborhood of Millcreek City, Utah to produce community events that bring residents together. Events produced by Canyon Rim is Community include the Canyon Rim Symposia series, the Canyon Rim Cares Service Weekend and several more on the way. The Canyon Rim Symposia Series features presentations on various topics of general interest. The Canyon Rim Cares single-day event to provide opportunities for residents to participate in community service.

Center For Documentary Expression and Art

The Center for Documentary Expression and Art (CDEA) is dedicated to using the tools of documentary work—oral history, photography, film making, narrative writing, visual art, and music– to help Utahns look inward to better understand our state’s past and present and to gaze outward to discover our multi-faceted connection to the nation and the world. CDEA creates and supports projects that examine and honor the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic identities of our nation’s diverse population in forums wherein we can acknowledge differences, establish common ground, and hence, build community.

Community Cooperative Nursery School

We are a parent cooperative preschool located in Salt Lake City that has provided a unique opportunity for parents to be regularly involved in their child’s preschool experience since our inception in 1962. Our program’s foundation is based on research that shows young children learn best by exploring the world around them through play. Check out our Wasatch Wanderers preschool program that allows children to learn through the discovery of the natural world.

Cycle Sanpete

Our mission is to bring a protected, two-way, and family-friendly bike path to Sanpete County that extends from Fairview down to Gunnison. We are dedicated to promoting a healthy and sustainable lifestyle through cycling in Sanpete County. Our vision is to make cycling a natural way of life for Sanpete County residents. We strive to support the local cycling community by providing resources, events, and advocacy initiatives that promote safe and enjoyable cycling experiences. Our goal is to inspire and empower individuals to incorporate cycling into their daily lives t contribute to a cleaner, healthier, and more vibrant community.

Davis Technical College Foundation

Our mission: Provide essential support to Davis Technical College, empowering all individuals to change their lives through accessible technical education.

English Skills Learning Center

The ESLC integrates and strengthens communities by breaking language and cultural barriers. Through two-way mutual integration, we engage fluent English speakers and adult language learners in free classes across Salt Lake County.

Friends Against Family Violence

Friends Against Family Violence (FAFV) is a community based nonprofit domestic violence program. FAFV provides services, shelter, crisis intervention, and prevention in the Tri-County of Uintah, Duchesne, and Daggett. We provide services for women, men, and children impacted by Domestic Violence. All of our services are 100% free and 100% confidential.

Girls on the Run UTAH

Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire all girls to build their confidence, kindness and decision making skills. Dynamic lessons instill valuable life skills including the important connection between physical and emotional health.

Holy Cross Ministries

We respond to the underserved community’s need for health and well being. We share God-given resources, connect people to community services, and assist individuals and families towards independence and full participation in the community. We do this to fulfill the mission of Jesus Christ and in the spirit of the Sisters of the Holy Cross.

KMS Foundation

The Herriman Children's Choir is a non-audition performing choir and its main purpose is to provide wholesome and professional singing opportunities to children across the valley, K-8th grade. Choral foundations and proper singing techniques will be taught.

KRCL Listeners Community Radio of Utah

We champion building a more socially engaged Utah through locally-driven programming that promotes music discovery and civic participation.

Maliheh Free Clinic

The mission of the Maliheh Free Clinic is to provide free, same-day access to high quality urgent medical care for all qualified patients. The Maliheh Free Clinic was founded with the sole purpose to rescue those members of our community who are in the most critical need of our help.

MenHealing

MenHealing provides healing resources for men and male-identified individuals, age 18 and older, who have experienced sexual victimization during childhood and/or as an adult. Our range of services include educational resources as well as in-person and virtual healing events for skills-building, connection, and community.

Onstage Ogden

Onstage Ogden is a community arts non-profit dedicated to promoting music and dance in the Greater Ogden area. We believe the arts have the power to inspire and uplift, and we are firmly committed to providing everyone in our community with greater access to the arts.

Prevent Child Abuse Utah

Working together, we can protect Utah's most valuable resource - its children. Through initiatives including education programs on abuse recognition and reporting for both children and adults, evidence-based home visiting support for parents, and more, Prevent Child Abuse Utah is dedicated to this vital cause.

Project Rainbow works to promote LGBTQ+ visibility throughout Utah and foster inclusivity in every corner of the state.

Raising Me Foundation

The Raising Me Foundation empowers, encourages and uplifts parents and children united through transracial adoption and interracial families.Our mission is to build bridges of understanding that cross racial, cultural and educational barriers to help loving parents raise confident children of color.

Rise Again Foundation

Rise Again Foundation is an IRS registered charity and exists to help those struggling with substance use disorders and those in early recovery to achieve long term freedom and independence. We provide a variety of education, support, and resources to help those in recovery learn skills for managing their substance use disorder and promote healthier lifestyles. Our mission is to empower individuals to believe in themselves and create lasting recoveries through evidence-based strategies.

RiteCare Of Utah

We help children with all types of learning challenges related to speech and language. We are dedicated to helping children become more successful in their home and school settings by empowering them to reach their full educational and social potential.

Rocky Mountain Innocence Center

Since 2000, RMIC works to correct and prevent the wrongful conviction of innocent people in Utah, Wyoming, and Nevada. We advocate for systemic reforms to improve our justice system and to create meaningful opportunities for the wrongfully convicted to prove their innocence and to receive compensation for their time spent behind bars.

Sobriety Foundation

Founded in 2012, Sobriety Foundation, formerly SOL Scholarship Foundation, helps adults residing in Utah, with substance use disorders with sober living costs through scholarships. Substance misuse is one of the critical public health epidemics of our time. In the 2016 Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Annual Report, it showed that 134,172 adults in Utah needed treatment for drug or alcohol dependence, but the public system could only serve 13,400 individuals. Currently, 10 people from Utah die each week from either alcohol or drugs and the numbers are increasing because of the influx of fentanyl in our state. Due to limited funding, we currently can only fund 35% of our applicants.

The Springville Museum of Art (SMA) fosters beauty and contemplation through life-affirming art and experience for Utah's Art City and its diverse communities. The Museum encourages our youth to develop into thoughtful individuals and caring human beings. We recognize the seed of potential within each individual, and we seek to nurture growth through the creative process, positive cultural values, an acquaintance with excellence, and a belief in the beauty of life. The Museum focuses on traditional aesthetic values through life-affirming Utah, Soviet, and American art.

Utah Friends of Monarchs

To engage and educate Utahns on conservation of the monarch butterfly. We do this by providing expertise and training, native milkweed seeds and/or seedlings, and leveraging partnerships with other organizations (public and private) to advance the cause of the monarch butterfly and the other pollinators who will benefit from this work.

Utah Health Policy Project

Utah Health Policy Project (UHPP) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization advancing sustainable health care solutions for underserved Utahns through better access, education, and public policy. Since 2006 UHPP has worked hard to develop solutions to create a health system that provides better access to higher quality health care at a lower cost. We pride ourselves on being an open resource for the public, community leaders, the media, businesses, health care providers and policymakers. Our nonbiased approach strives to find solutions that best fit Utah. We bring individuals and organizations to the same table, recognizing that effective and long-term solutions are fostered by authentic collaboration among disparate stakeholders. Our role is to ensure the consumer voice is present.

WMI believes that everyone who lives within view of the Wasatch Mountains should have a connection with them. WMI programs connect children, families, and communities to the wonder, recreational, and educational opportunities of the outdoors. By playing and learning in the Wasatch Mountains, people will develop a sense of place that inspires them to steward the water, forest, and recreational resources of the Wasatch Mountains.
