Kirsten Allen
For the past 16 years, Kirsten has led Torrey House Press towards success in so many metrics. During her tenure, we published over 100 books, attended local arts and book festivals, collaborated with bookstores, libraries, and community partners throughout the American West, and brought exceptional books about the Western landscape into the hands of thousands of readers. She has weathered all sorts of storms, from personnel changes, to COVID, to major funding cuts to arts programs and has NEVER wavered from her mission - to publish books the world needs and advocating for environmental stewardship. This year she steps into an editorial roll at Torrey House, but her legacy and passion will guide our organization in perpetuity.

Jaime Cross
Jaime began her career with Neighborhood House when she was still in school for her Masters of Gerontology. She started at the front desk fielding all the phone calls, as well as client and caregiver traffic. She was moved to another position in just over a year to a manager position, and became the supervisor for our front line team. Over the next 3.5 years, our Adult Day Services staff has grown from about 8 people to a full staff of 24 people and Jaime supervises 21 front line staff. She was instrumental in creating a very comprehensive onboarding process that follows a 30, 60, 90-day plan ensuring that every new team member is highly trained and helped along the way to being successful. Jaime also wrote an in-depth training program for our driver position which was implemented 3.5 years ago. Since then, our driver position has become a very valuable position for our department. Jaime was just elected to the Vice Chair position of the Council for Aging at Aging and Adult Services. Jaime is truly an emerging leader in both our agency and other related aging and dementia organizations.
