Saru joined UNA in 2022 as the Manager of Marketing and Communication, bringing with her experience in nonprofit networks, program design and development, social enterprise, and strategic communications. She now proudly serves as Chief Growth Officer. With a deep interest in both grassroots and systemic social change strategies, Saru believes in the power of collaboration and impactful storytelling. Bringing experience in nonprofit networks, program development, and strategic storytelling, she is excited about finding new opportunities to connect and serve the community here in Utah.

Saru holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in English. In her downtime, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, baby, and dog, making art, dancing, and cracking a few jokes here and there.
