Each year, the UNA Annual Conference Committee has the monumental task of selecting the recipients of the Nonprofit Leader Awards from the incredible nominations that are submitted. These individuals represent our highest ideals, embodying our collective hope for change and our willingness to achieve it. They advance their missions through bold vision, bolstered by authenticity and genuine compassion.
UNA Hall of Fame Spotlight Recognition (Nominations open through 11:59 PM, Friday, August 8, 2025)
The UNA Hall of Fame honors those hardworking nonprofit employees who have made a lasting impact on their team, organization, and mission. Whether it's their exceptional work ethic, their positive attitude, or their unwavering dedication, this is an opportunity to recognize those who embody the values of their nominating organizations and make a difference to our community.

Governor's Career Humanitarian Leadership Award
Honoring leaders who inspire others to get involved for the betterment of their community throughout their 20+ year careers.
Lieutenant Governor's Public Service Award
Honoring individuals who have improved their communities through public service over more than 5 years of continuous commitment.
Outstanding Volunteer Award
Recognizing an individual who has contributed significantly to the nonprofit community through their volunteer service.
Outstanding Young Volunteer Award
Recognizing an outstanding young person who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to philanthropy and volunteerism.
Labor and Honor Award
Recognizing individuals, families, or organizations who whose dedication to a cause has led to a phenomenal shift, breakthrough, or transformation.
Heart & Hands Award (Nominations open through September 1, 2025)
Honoring people who make significant contributions to an organization's mission through their volunteer or philanthropic service.
